Be Still
When everything is too much. When you’re overwhelmed. When the grief is suffocating and you don’t know how to keep going.
God says: Be still.
Not “push through it.” Not “be strong.” Not “figure it out.”
Be still.
Stop fighting. Stop striving. Stop trying to carry this weight alone.
Just be still.
And let Him hold you.
I know that’s hard. I know every part of you wants to keep moving. Keep busy. Keep doing something—anything—to make this hurt less.
But sometimes the most courageous thing you can do is stop.
Stop pretending you’re okay. Stop forcing yourself to be strong. Stop running from the pain.
Just be still.
And in that stillness, He meets you.
Not to fix it. Not to take it away. Not to give you all the answers you’re desperate for.
But to be with you. To carry what you can’t carry. To hold you when you’re falling apart.
Be still and know that He is God.
He sees you. He knows what you’re going through. And He’s not asking you to have it all together.
He’s asking you to surrender. To let go. To trust Him with what you can’t control.
When grief is loud and relentless, when your mind won’t stop racing, when the pain feels unbearable—
Be still.
Rest in Him. Let Him carry the weight. Let Him be your strength when you have none left.
You don’t have to figure this out. You don’t have to be okay. You don’t have to fight through it alone.
You just have to be still.
And know that He is with you.
In the chaos. In the pain. In the darkest moments of your grief.
He is there.
So, stop striving. Stop struggling.
Be still.
And let Him help you.
